Since its formal launch on 12 October 2004, BioSingapore’s key objectives are to:
Become a central networking organisation and act as a catalyst for stimulating and improving business, investment and scientific opportunities.
Liaise with local and international organisations including MNCs and SMEs, and generate business interest in bioscience industry.
Create awareness in, and reach out to, the local investment community to maximize the flow of funds into the local bioscience industry and ensure mechanisms for a return on such investments.
Represent the industry to a broad range of interested parties, from the public and policy-makers, to the media and financial sectors.
Educate and inform interested parties about the local bioscience industry, its objectives, goals and viewpoints.
Pool the resources and expertise of the members to create a thriving business environment for the growth of the local bioscience industry..
General understanding, communicating and supporting the needs of the local bioscience industry.
Bridge human talents with industry players.
